Welcome, and thanks for visiting. I'm an independent producer/engineer located just north of San Francisco. What kind of music do I specialize in, you ask? I'm happy to work on any style or genre. In fact, the more variety the better! I'm equally comfortable mixing your underground rap record or tracking your next country hit. I'll be happy to produce some background music for your corporate video, or overdub some guitars on your up-coming indie rock project. As long as you've got some music needs and you're looking for high-quality audio results, I'm your guy! My goal is to provide a professional recording experience that is comfortable, enjoyable and allows your music and creativity to come first!

As a producer, I feel my role is to take the most accurate and best sounding aural snapshot of your bands sound. I'm not out to make you sound like something or someone else. After all, you've worked long and hard to create something original, and we want to preserve that. Of course, I'm glad to offer some constructive criticism if you're interested, and I'll do everything I can to draw out an inspired performance. What if you don't already have a band? I'll be glad to work with you and find the right combination of musicians to get the results you are looking for.

As an engineer, my goals are very simple: to record the best sounding tracks, to create new and interesting sounds appropriate to your project and to make the whole recording process as transparent as possible. It's my opinion that the less it seems like a big stressful recording session, and the more comfortable you are, the better results we'll get and the more fun you'll have.

Now you're probably wondering what kind of experience I have? Do you really want to trust your precious musical endeavors with just anyone? Well, I've been involved with audio and recording in some fashion or anther since 1989. It started with a guitar, a garageband and a 4-track and moved on to a Bachelor's Degree specializing in Music Production and Engineering. From there I spent nine years as a working, independent engineer in Nashville before moving to sunny San Diego as a contracted producer/engineer for an independent record label. While in Nashville, I had the privilege of working with (and learning from) several world-class engineers, producers and musicians, as well as recording at some of the finest studio facilities available. I've spent countless hours with all types of gear, from vintage to state-of-the-art. If you're into big analog consoles, I'm thrilled to find you a studio with an SSL, Neve, API or similar. If ProTools is your thing, that's fine too, at this point it kind of just feels like an extension of my body anyway. Basically I just want to make good music, whatever path we go down to get there.
